Where is your office and how do I get there?

Our state-of-the-art dental facility is conveniently located at 6020 Southeastern Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. (Southeastern Avenue and Arlington Avenue)

Southeast Family Dental has one location, but we actually occupy two very unique buildings. We are the proud owners of one of the first solar-heated offices built in the state of Indiana. A short walk across the parking lot is our other building, a beautiful red brick pre-Civil War home built in 1855 and known as the Waterman House.

Both of our office buildings were designed and decorated with your comfort and relaxation in mind. They are important historic landmarks in our community. Click here for more information about our buildings.

I don’t understand how my insurance works. Can you help?

Definitely! Determining how to best utilize your insurance can be confusing. Benefits can vary widely from plan to plan, even among employees from the same company! We offer our patients a complimentary benefits check to provide clear information about insurance benefits and help you make informed financial choices.

We accept most insurance plans, and our office team gladly files insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. We go a step further by sending photos and extra documentation to your insurance company to maximize your benefits.

I have unexpected dental needs. Do you offer any extended payment arrangements?

Yes. We’ve partnered with CareCredit and Enhance Patient Financing. Both companies offer extended payment plans to help patients obtain dental care. Many of the plans are available with no interest for qualified applicants.

Once a treatment plan has been agreed upon, our business office can contact CareCredit or Enhance Patient Financing on your behalf. In some cases, your approval status will be determined in less than five minutes. We’ll handle the entire process discreetly and adhere to the highest standards of privacy. You can also apply online.

I’m scared of the dentist. Can Dr. Bohnert help?

Absolutely. Many patients face dental appointments with some degree of fear or apprehension. In our personalized approach, we offer several ways to assist you in receiving dental treatment that’s comfortable and stress-free.

Southeast Family Dental offers topical and local anesthetics, as well as oral sedation and nitrous oxide. We promise to do everything we can to make you as comfortable as possible during your dental treatments. Dr. Bohnert will discuss your options with you and create a personalized treatment plan for relaxing, worry-free dental care.

I’m a new patient. Can I get copies of any forms that you need me to complete prior to my visit?

Yes! We know what it’s like to spend the first few minutes as a new patient trying to remember everything that we ask on your new patient paperwork! Try this instead: print your new patient forms and fill them out in the convenience of your own home.

Do you accept referrals?

Yes, and thank you for your confidence. We’re happy to welcome new patients. You can depend on us to extend the same excellent care to your friends, family, and coworkers that you receive at our office. Your referral is the highest compliment we could receive. Be sure to ask about our Referral Rewards Program!

Will you be there for me if I have an emergency?

Yes! When your mouth hurts, call us. In most cases, we can treat your dental emergency the same day that you contact our Indianapolis dental office. If you are a patient of record and have a dental emergency in the evening or on the weekend, call our office. Dr. Bohnert will return your call as soon as possible.

Is there anything that sets Southeast Family Dental apart from other dental practices?

Yes! Your dentist is in your neighborhood. Dr. Bohnert lives and works in the same Southeast-side community where many of our patients reside. He raises his children here, attends church services, and support local businesses in Franklin Township and surrounding communities. There’s comfort in knowing that the dental care you need is right around the corner.
