My 96 year old father was having pain in his front gums and a sore was found to be the cause. He will continue saltwater rinses and if the pain doesn’t subside then we will look at new dentures. The doctor and her assistant were great. This practice is so beautiful and my dad was so comfortable. He didn’t have his hearing aids so we brought a Talkbox amplifier and headphones and they were great at using them to communicate. All the staff we met were great. Parking and location are a major plus.

TLDR: This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office! My hygienist, Ariel, was absolutely amazing. So friendly and personable. It’s always nice when you randomly meet someone that you have things in common with and you can chat to them like a friend. Ariel is also great at what she does and is very knowledgeable. At every other dental office I’ve been to, they’ve always aggressively scraped and cleaned my teeth. My visit here taught me that isn’t the way it’s done at every dental office. Dr. Geiger was also amazing. Equally friendly and personable. This was the first experience I’ve had where my time with a dentist didn’t feel extremely rushed. Dr. Geiger chatted with me and took her time to explain things. It felt like she actually cared and wanted me to be informed as well. The entire staff was so wonderful. As is always the case, I had a five star appointment with Southeast Dental today. I was actually running about ten minutes behind. I called from the car. They were like “ok great! We will se u when u get here!” Caylei is an excellent hygienist. She is gentle, kind, and very caring. I always enjoy our chats and “catching up”. Dr Jones is also wonderful. I can’t say enough nice comments about both of these amazing professional women. They are pros. And I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Since I wear a bite plate, I was concerned that the little ball might possibly have caused the wearing down. I cannot say enough about them. Initially, I needed my husband to hold my hand, crying like a baby, refusing to sit in the exam chair, having an anxiety attack. But now, I drive myself, go in without an issue, my blood pressure is at a good rate, no anxiety attack. I’ve even had appointments without nitrous and I can do regular X-rays now. Had a great experience at Southeastern Family Dental. I went for a cleaning and will be coming back for all future dental care. The hygienist and the dentist were both fantastic - extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. What a great place. I actually like going to the Dentist. Whether you see Dr Mark, Dr Laura or Dr Holly, I always feel welcome and at ease. The entire staff from front end to the hygienists are just super. Professional, yet fun to be with. I have been going here for many years now and we have been through a lot, especially with Dr Mark Bohnert. Like I said before, I actually enjoy going to the Dentist. Much of the staff has been there for many years. It's nice to see familiar faces, always with a friendly smile.

My regular checkup and cleaning was excellent. Had a sharp edge on tooth that Dr. Mark Bohnert polished off as part of the exam. I have been a patient since 1983 and have always received excellent care by Dr. Bohnert and his staff. This year the practice offered established patients who were veterans $100 off as a thank you for their service. I am a veteran and was very thankful to receive this generous discount given with a smile and pat on the back.

I have been going to this dentist my entire life and there is no way I would go anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. I brought my 3 year old in for her first appointment and they were AMAZING with her. She wasn't intimidated and they made it fun for her. She was excited to sit in the chair and have people look at her teeth. Her pediatrician kept telling me to take her to a pediatric dentist but there is no need. The staff work with kids so well that she was comfortable. I appreciate the service I have received from this group!

I have been going to this office for the past 5 years. I moved here after graduating from college and I wanted to find a good dentist. I found a great dentist, all 3 dentists in this facility are great. They take extra care and are gentle. I am the type of person that worries and is scared of the dentist office. It is always a "REUNION" for those of us that have been patients of Southeast Family Dental for as long as we have. I bring my father who is about to be "98" years old in June. He needs to take an antibiotic before each visit due to knee replacement. As I am picking up his prescription the lady asked for his birth date...then looked up at me with such a shock and promptly said "And he is still going to the dentist?" I have to say it was with a smile and chuckle "If you had a dentist like ours you would not be so surprised." I sincerely mean it is just like a family reunion when we go for our appointments. As we enter the office we are always met cheerfully with the same familiar faces and immaculate surroundings...establishing a truly comfortable experience from the beginning. We return twice a year for these "REUNIONS" and look forward to catching up with everyone there and my father is always interested in the latest improvements. He looks around with a grandfathers pride of this long standing practice. But, the most important thing is that all of them keep us well and keep us in bright shinny smiles. As I said before "If you had a dentist like ours you would not be so surprised." And, for that we are so thankful.

Yes!!!!! …. I love my new dentist!! Dr Geiger is funny and her assistants are super nice!!! It was actually the best dental experience I’ve had. They give you headphones to listen to while they work on you!! and free chap stick!! They gave me a list of everything I was getting before they did it and asked me what I wanted to do, showed me what was covered and what wasn’t… no surprise bills…. And they didn’t try to recommend me to get stuff that day that I didn’t need or couldn’t wait on… They kept saying (whatever you want to do no pressure) . Dr. Geiger is super nice… ....I can tell she makes work fun! I plan on sticking with them.

My wife and I had our initial appointment (cleaning and new patient assessment) with Southeast Family Dental a few weeks ago. I was blown away by the overall professionalism and gentle treatment I received. The assessment was thorough and the cleaning was probably the best I've ever had. All of my teeth feel glassy smooth and clean. I needed a follow-on appointment to remove what remained of a tooth that had just broken off. This was my first real procedure with Southeast Family Dental after the initial cleaning. I was extremely pleased with how well it went. I was most concerned with the anesthesia injection and had told the dentist, Dr. Holly Austgen, that this was going to be the critical element of how I was going to grade her work. She was superlative. I had virtually no pain at the injection sites and the extraction was very easy on me (though I think she she may have had some additional work on her hands with a broken root). It has been 24 hours since the procedure and I am feeling pretty good. She, and her assistant, Karey, did a great job. I plan on staying with Dr Austgen and Southeast Family Dental for the remainder of my life. I believe my wife feels likewise.

This is Stephanie Kennedy grandmother Betty Kennedy. I have been going to the Southeast Family Dental since my son was about 5-6 years old. He is 56 this year and would make up very old customers. Dr. Mark and his brother would be waiting for the school bus. Their Dad was the dentist then, and a good one. So that probably make us one of the oldest customer to come.

The Slimak Family loves Dr. Bohnert and the staff at Southeast Family Dental. We have been with them for years, and honestly, I have tried other dental practices in the Indianapolis area - I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Southeast Family Dental! No comparison with customer service.
