If you’ve always wanted straighter, whiter teeth, but you didn’t think it was possible, think again! Today’s cosmetic dental treatments are more accessible than ever before, and you might be surprised at how affordable they can be.

Both teeth bonding and veneers are popular options for enhancing your smile’s natural appearance, but how do you know which option you should choose?

Teeth Bonding: A Fast, Affordable Option

Teeth bonding is a cosmetic treatment that uses composite resin to reshape or repair your teeth. In just one dental visit, we can apply, sculpt, and harden the resin to fix minor issues such as:

  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Gapped teeth
  • Slightly misaligned teeth

Veneers: A Longer-Lasting, Durable Solution

Veneers can correct the same issues as teeth bonding, but the veneers process includes placing thin porcelain shells on the front sides of your teeth. Veneers are a durable option, and they look just like your natural teeth.

Many people choose veneers if they have numerous teeth that need cosmetic care.

Veneers can last for 10-15 years or more if you care for them properly, but they are more expensive than composite bonding.

Here’s what you can expect from the process:

  1. First, we’ll numb your mouth so you won’t feel anything.
  2. Then, we’ll remove a small amount of tooth enamel to accommodate the width of the veneers.
  3. Next, we’ll take impressions to send to the dental lab so they can create your custom veneers.
  4. We’ll answer your questions and help you select the best shade for your new smile.
  5. Before you leave, we’ll place temporary veneers on your teeth.
  6. Once back from the lab, you’ll return to our dental office so we can cement your veneers in place, checking to ensure they fit properly and look natural.
